This is the math we encounter daily: multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, and fractions. It is the math of everyday life, people who lack number skills are at a disadvantage.
​
Just as importantly, kids need these skills to keep up in high school! In order to succeed in Algebra, Calculus, Trig, and beyond, students need to have a solid foundational understanding of math concepts, how to apply them, and how to find a mistake if they've made one.
